Join Cypress Pop Warner this season! We offer flag football for ages 5-6, tackle football for ages 7-15 and cheerleading for ages 5-15.

There are no tryouts! Participants are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis as space is available, so register early!

The first day of practice is typically late July to early August. Please plan your vacations accordingly! It’s important for your child to try to attend all practices.

Cypress Pop Warner provides a safe and fun environment for teaching the fundamentals of football and cheerleading and for preparing our participants for competition. In the past few years, Cypress Pop Warner has sent cheer squads to regional and national competitions and football teams to post-season bowl games.

Cypress Pop Warner Football & Cheerleading is part of the national Pop Warner Little Scholars organization. We offer flag football, flag cheerleading, tackle football and tackle cheerleading for youth ages 5-15. Tackle football eligibility is based on age/weight combinations set by Pop Warner Little Scholars. We are located in Cypress, California. Cypress Pop Warner is not part of Cypress Parks and Recreation, and participation is not limited to Cypress residents.

Cypress Pop Warner is one of the most successful associations in the Orange Empire Conference, which includes: Anaheim, Brea, Canyon Hills, Cypress, Fullerton, Garden Grove, Hacienda/La Puente, Huntington Beach, La Habra, Lakewood, La Mirada, Montebello, Long Beach, Los Alamitos, North Long Beach, Saddleback Valley, Santa Ana, Santa Margarita, South Coast, Stanton, Tustin and Yorba Linda.

It is our mission to teach the important fundamentals of football and cheerleading, with an emphasis on participation, safety, and fun while also encouraging learning and personal development for each participant. We will teach our youth to be lifetime learners in the classroom and on the field. We will also strive for our youth to be outstanding citizens who will grow through character development, leadership, teamwork, sportsmanship and develop a family environment within our teams and the community.
